I am currently living in Waterloo, IL with my daughter Savannah and our dog Mercedes. Savannah is in preschool for one more year, then she will be attending Kindergarten in the fall. I can't believe it! Mercedes spends the day at home sleeping while mom and sissy are away at school. We take her on walks every evening and enjoy playing outside, spending time with friends and family, singing and reading. Savannah loves to read!
I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education from Western Illinois University, in Macomb, IL. I continued my education through SIUE Edwardsville and received my second certification in Elementary Education. I have taught Music in two different school districts; I was an RTI/Reading Coordinator in Columbia, IL; and I continue to teach private piano and voice lessons from my home in Waterloo.
I am thrilled about getting to know each one of my students this year and look forward to a great year in 4th grade!
